Tis the season to enjoy fresh corn on the cob, and I’m not complaining! It tastes great and is fun to eat. Now is a great time to look for corn on the cob at your local Farmers’ Market.

Because it is low in fat, saturated fat free, sodium free, and cholesterol free it makes a great addition to a healthy diet. Although fresh corn on the cob may not be easily enjoyed all year round, the good news is corn is readily available in other forms.
