August is National Sandwich month! A long time staple in many kitchens, a sandwich can make a great meal. The possibilities are endless. With the right choices, a sandwich can be the perfect addition to your day as it fuels your body with the nutrients it needs.
It’s as easy as that! For an extra healthy sandwich, use whole grain bread slices, wraps, or pitas, and pile high with plenty of fruits and veggies.
