Twelve Months To A Healthier You // Cabbage Chicken Salad

It’s the New Year! Have you chosen your resolutions? Consider taking a less is more approach with your nutrition and physical activity goals this time of year. If you start out with a lofty goal, it may be hard to see progress. You may feel like you are constantly reaching, but never obtaining. Instead, set smaller, more achievable goals. When you reach them, you’ll feel satisfaction with your progress. That feeling of satisfaction will fuel you to keep going.

A great way to set smaller, more achievable goals is to focus on one component each month. Follow the Twelve Months to a Healthier You graphic below, or use it as a guideline to generate ideas of your own.

Here’s a yummy recipe to try as you get starting on your goals for 2019.

You can eat it like a salad, or roll it up in a tortilla, fill pita bread, or top bread slices, to create a sandwich or wrap. If you don’t have ginger dressing on hand, here is a recipe to make your own.
